Four runs. The complete picture.
These are individual observations, not a guarantee of performance for another configuration.

Source: BioNex project field-run records. End-to-end rates are calculated as transfers ÷ total run duration × 3,600.
Transfer timing and total run duration are different measurements. The reported transfer timing is not total time divided by transfer count. The four reported timings have a median of 3.80 seconds; the filmed run averages about 888 transfers per hour end to end.

Throughput, footprint and capital needs depend on the configuration. Start with your plate formats, methods, queue and required output.
- Agree on what counts as a completed sample or plate.
- Include handling, storage, consumables and operator time.
- Validate the proposed configuration against representative work.
